Kotori Minami is one of the main characters in Love Live! School Idol Project. She is 16 years old and a second year in Otonokizaka high school.
She is voiced by Aya Uchida in Japanese and Cristina Vee in English.
Background[]
Kotori has been good friends with Honoka Kousaka and Umi Sonoda since childhood. Her mother serves as the principal of the school where she and the other idols of the series attend.
Personality[]
Kotori is the ditsy dreamer of the group. She designs the concert outfits for everyone.
Kotori has a huge imagination and she is cheerful. In spite of her tendencies of becoming absent-minded, she has a huge heart and an enormous amount of compassion for all of her friends.
As the group's designer (alongside Nico Yazawa), Kotori has an intense love for fashion and is very skilled when it comes to drawing costumes for the group.
Kotori is indecisive to the point where she often finds herself depending on Umi and Honoka to make decisions for her. And while she always takes the time to consider the feelings of others, this results in Kotori having issues expressing her own emotions herself.
