Kotozume Yukari is one of the five main characters of KiraKira☆Pretty Cure A La Mode and is a second year high school student. Her alter ego, Cure Macaron, is based on macarons and cats.
Appearance[]
Yukari has sharp purple eyes and long, wavy purple hair. She wears a stylish lilac trench-coat with a lavender ribbon around the waist. Over that coat is a purple top and a short gray pencil skirt.
As Cure Macaron, her hair grows longer and is worn out with a macaron hat. She has purple cats ear and a purple cat tail, as well as raspberry earrings, and a purple neck ribbon. Her dress has a white chest, puffed sleeves, and a mini skirt that closely resembles a macaron with a raspberry and lavender middle.
Personality[]
Yukari is a clever and refined lady, but has a fickle personality. She likes to tease other people just to get a reaction out of them, mostly out of being egotistical. She acts rather selfish and feels above everyone else like a "cat", but the more she spends time with the other girls the KIRAKIRA Patisserie and as a cure, the more lively and friendly she becomes.
When Yukari was little, she kept on trying new things in order to find something that she could feel passionate about, but was unable to. She doesn't seem to be known as "perfect", as it becomes depressingly dreary for her. This makes her realize that is she can't be given enjoyment, she has to create it for herself. She embraces in the the 29th episode of the series, and claims that she can't get rid of her inner darkness and sadness, but with her friends by her side, she feels her world being colorful, which makes her able to deal with her problems.
