Kozo Kanamori is a swordsmith who is affiliated with the Demon Slayer Corps and a minor character in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.
He is voiced by Eiji Takemoto in Japanese and by Kyle Herbert in English.
Appearance[]
Kozo is pretty short in terms of height, slim in terms of build, and has somewhat long dark hair that reaches down to his neck. He also wears the same Hyottoko mask that all of the residents of Swordsmith Village wear, so his face is rarely seen.
Personality[]
Kozo appears as a calm, soft-spoken individual. He is capable of understanding the hot-blooded Hotaru Haganezuka and cares for others very much as seen when he continues to protect Hotaru against an attack from Twelve Kizuki, Gyokko, despite previously suffering severe injuries from him.
However, on the other hand, when it comes to his swords, Kozo is passionate to an extent that rivals Hotaru's own passion. When Inosuke Hashibira purposefully chips the dual blades he received from him, he quickly became furious enough to threaten to kill him for it in a manner not unlike how Hotaru reacts to Tanjiro breaking his blades and had to be held back by Tanjiro.
Trivia[]
- Kozo's wife is called En, and she's two years younger than him. The two of them are said to be such a perfect couple that they even look like each other.
