Kris Rutherford, also known as Jinn, is a former antagonist who became a supporting character in the anime/manga Edens Zero. He was a former mercenary of Rogue Out, his mission was to kidnapp the B-Cubers in the planet Bluegarden. Since the organization got disbanded, he worked under Drakken Joe as an assistant to his younger sister, Kleene Rutherford. After finding that his sisters live was getting sucked away each day, he made his promise that he will protect no matter what and betrays Drakken Joe. He and his sister join the Crew of Edens, but only temporarily, since he wants his sister's emotional state to be healed, after Sister Ivry heals her emotional state and Weisz Steiner defeats Muller, they both join the crew, optioning that title Wind of Edens.
Appearance[]
Jinn is an 0-Tech with a body mass of 60% mechanical and has an appearance of a ninja, he is muscular and tall, but rather slim. He has two lines on the side of his face and around his body. He has red eyes with green spiky hair that seems to be brushed away to the right which is being held with a dark-blue headband. He wears a dark blue cloak on his shoulders that covers most of his white and black bodysuit, also wearing white shoulder pads, gauntlets and boots.
Personality[]
Jinn is rather serious and does any assignment that needs to be done. As a status of a mercenary, he isn't sadistic and doesn't torture the people he kidnaps, he is also very aware he did sinful things while working under the fake Sister, who stole the real sister's healing powers and took her identity. He also claims to be a loner that doesn't have any friends, expect for Kleene, the only person he has connection with. He really cares about his sister, promising that he will protect her no matter the cost, showing a loyal side to him.
He may still be pretty serious individual, but his personality changed after Sister healed Kleene's mind and Weisz defeating Muller, he is now more open, happier (showing that he smiled at Shiki, telling him that they are friends despite of his earlier comment about joining the crew) and appears to be much friendlier.
