Krypto is the main hero of the cartoon series Krypto the Superdog.
He is voiced by Samuel Vincent in Krypto the Superdog and Jason J. Lewis in Justice League Action.
Origin
Krypto's beginning storyline seems to follow the same storyline of Superman. Krypto was a dog from the planet Krypton. Before his home planet, Krypton, explodes, he is put in a space pod, and sent to Earth. There, he meets a human boy named Kevin and becomes his dog, and best friend. He fights crime in the boy's home town of Metropolis. Krypto also has a crush on Brainy Barker.
Krypto is aided at times by his cat friend Streaky (who developed superpowers after being zapped by a laser) and Ace the Bathound (the pet dog of Batman).
Krypto's enemies include Mechanikat, Snooky Wookums, Ignatius (Lex Luthor's pet iguana), Bud and Lou (the pet hyenas of the Joker) and Isis (the pet cat of Catwoman).
Powers and Abilities
Krypto possesses super-strength, flight, and heat-vision.
