Kubo Punko is the titular team of superheroes from the 2004 Cartoon Monsoon shorts of the same name.

Biography

Five prankster kids find a box of keychains that can transform them into superheroes known as Kubo Punko. As they are playing baseball with tomatoes, tomatoes rained all over New York City. They activated their keychains to suit up. Markko, who has the sixth and final keychain caused an army of robots shooting talking tomatoes. They eventually stopped him with their special move: Kubo Puncho. The kids celebrated their victory by getting subs at a sub shop.

Members

Corey

Corey is the leader of the team. He has blue and green armor. He was voiced by Khary Payton.

Bee

Bee is the sole female of the team. She gets bothered when people say the word “guy” to her. She likes chewing bubblegum. She has pink armor. She was voiced by Grey DeLisle.

CC Daily

CC is the sole Black member of the team. He has Turquoise armor. He was voiced by Khary Payton.

Rollo

Rollo is the comic relief of the team. He has brown armor. He was voiced by Grey DeLisle.

Ralphie

Ralphie is the dimwit of the team. He has navy blue armor. He was voiced by Steve Blum.

Appearance

Every Kubo Punko member wears a set of armor with red eyes and teeth. Their eyes and teeth can move depending on their mood.

Powers and abilities

Every Kubo Punko member can fly and attack enemies with their fists or laser eyes. Corey can make a gauntlet that connects the rest of the team called Kubo Puncho, which causes massive damage to the opponent.

Trivia

• According to art from the creators, Markko would have redeemed himself and became the sixth Kubo Punko member.
• They are inspired by Super Sentai shows such as Power Rangers and Jackass.
