Story[]
Originally a riot cop from New York City, he was recruited by the US Special Forces when the armies of Outworld began making incursions into Earthrealm, ultimately joining Raiden and his chosen warriors in competing in the Outworld Tournament.
During the Outworld Tournament, Stryker battles against the demonic sorcerer Shang Tsung. Unprepared to face Tsung's dark magic, Stryker is at a severe disadvantage. During the fight, Tsung uses his magic to copy Stryker's appearance and fighting style, easily overpowering the startled cop. After dishing out a thorough beating, Tsung then possesses Stryker's body, forcing him to impale himself on a spike protruding from a pillar. The sorcerer then manipulates Stryker's arm into grabbing his head and pulling it off his shoulders, killing him in a most horrific fashion.
