He was portrayed by Steve Talley.
Description[]
Kyle Wick was an engineer trained by Jacapo Sinclair on the Ark. He's upbeat and likes to joke around, which Raven doesn't appreciate and she will briefly fall in love with him later.
Biography[]
In season one, after Diana Sydney takes off the Exodus ship, the Ark breaks down and oxygen is lacking. Wick finds his arm stuck in a door and Marcus Kane comes to help him. The latter explains the situation and Kyle complains that his mother voted for Sydney. After being unstuck, he follows Kane and reunites with other surivors. After which, they join Chancellor Jaha, Sinclair and the others at the monitoring station. Kane leaves to find other survivors and Wick wishes him good luck. He will descend to Earth thanks to the Ark along with the other inhabitants and survive the landing as other stations explode.
In season two, Wick lives in Camp Jaha, a camp built from the remains of the Ark. He is often seen arguing with Raven over how to contact the delinquents taken to Mount Weather. Due to his leg injured by Murphy, Wick made a splint for Raven who at first doesn't want it but eventually uses it. Together, they made a balloon which they hung on top of a tower and it allowed Clarke to locate Arkadia. However, the object was destroyed by Major Byrne who did not want Grounders to spot the camp. Later, Wick and Raven manage to help Bellamy deactivate the acid fog. After which, they have sex but Raven is uncomfortable because she still misses Finn. Wick then infiltrates Mount Weather with Raven to blow up the generators and cut power to the base. Caught by guards, the explosion saves them but are then taken away and chained with other captives to the dormitory of the 48. As Raven is chosen for the next extraction, Clarke irradiates level five and Sky People is freed. Wick then carries Raven to Camp Jaha and is never seen again.
In season three, Wick is briefly mentioned by Abby who reveals that he and Raven are no longer together.
Trivia[]
- Supposed to have a bigger importance in the series, his character was deleted after his actor Steve Talley apparently said racist jokes on Twitter. As a result, he was fired from the show.
