Role in the film[]

Kylie is a homing superintendent assigned to a tree that Mr. Fox purchased. After Mr. Fox and his family move into the tree, he explains his midlife crisis to Kylie and invites him to participate in a series of raids against the neighboring farms owned by Boggis, Bunce and Bean. During their raid against Bean's farm, Mr. Fox invites his nephew, Kristofferson against Kylie's wishes.

The following night, Mr. Fox and Kylie are confronted by Felicity, who is suspicious of Mr. Fox's activities and suspects that he has relapsed into his thieving ways. As the pair exit the tree, they find themselves being ambushed by the three farmers as they open fire upon the pair in retaliation for the theft of their poultry. Kylie escapes unscathed, but Mr. Fox loses his tail in the process. Later, the fox family and Kylie are forced to dig underground and abandon their home when the farmers try to dig them out with shovels and backhoes before they form an army of their employees to starve the fox family out.

Three days later, Kylie and the fox family encounter Clive Badger and the rest of the animal community, who were also forced to flee the farmers' wrath as a result of Mr. Fox's theft. To save the refugees from starvation, Mr. Fox devises a plan to rob all three farms clean with the help of Kylie and the other woodland creatures as they dig a series of tunnels leading to the farms and steal their products. In retaliation for the loss of their products, the farmers flood the flint mine with cider and trap the woodland animals in the sewers.

While Mr. Fox heads out to surrender himself to the farmers to save his community, Kylie heads off with Badger and the other animals to search for Kristofferson, who snuck off with Ash to retrieve Mr. Fox's severed tail from the farmers. During the search, the animals are confronted by Bean's security guard, Rat, who delivers the farmers' ransom note demanding Mr. Fox's surrender to the animals. After Mr. Fox intervenes in the nick of time to stop Rat from kidnapping Ash and kills him, Kylie comments on his crazed nature, to which Mr. Fox agrees. When Mr. Fox abandons his mission to surrender to the farmers and analyzes his allies' Latin names and talents, Kylie points out to Mr. Fox that he did not list him, to which Mr. Fox states that his job is to simply "be available" and clarifies that he does not know his species' Latin name.

Later, Mr. Fox orchestrates a plan to attack the farmers and have the woodland animals distract the farmers, while he, Kylie and Ash steal a motorcycle to drive to Bean's farm with the goal of rescuing Kristofferson. Upon arriving at Bean's farm, the three animals are confronted by a rabid guard dog named Spitz. Mr. Fox offers Kylie and Ash to head to the attic, while he distracts the beagle. Kylie and Ash manage to locate Kristofferson and Kylie tries to pry the bars of the attic off until Ash points out that he can fit through the bars, due to his small stature and orders him to hand over Kristofferson's shoelace to descend into the attic. While Ash manages to set Kristofferson free, Kylie expresses concern for Mr. Fox's well-being as he is chased by Spitz before he manages to escape. As the four animals try to escape the farm, they find themselves being confronted by the farmers and their henchmen. As Mr. Fox condemns the farmers for their crimes, the farmers open fire upon them. To rescue his friends, Ash heads out and dodges the farmers' gunfire until he unleashes Spitz, giving them the opportunity to escape with Mr. Fox's tail. As they drive away, Kylie spots the wolf that he has been mentioning to fox and they stop the motorcycle. As Mr. Fox and the wolf exchange solidarity, Kylie and the cubs wish the wolf good luck before parting ways.

Three days later, Mr. Fox and Kylie arrive at their new home in the sewers to inform Mrs. Fox and the children about a surprise. The fox family and Kylie manage to arrive at their destination, which happens to be a massive supermarket owned by the three farmers. After Felicity reveals that she is pregnant and Mr. Fox delivers his toast to his friends and family, Kylie and the fox family throw a dance party.
