Lana is a Trial Captain in Pokémon Sun & Moon, making her anime debut appearance in the episode Aloha to New Adventure!
She was voiced by Hitomi Kikuchi in Japanese and Rosie Reyes in English. In Pokémon Masters, she was voiced by AmaLee.
Appearance[]
Lana is a young girl with blue eyes and hair, the latter in which she wears a yellow decoration. She wears a white sleeveless shirt with a dark blue one-piece swimsuit and a short cape behind her back. She also wears blue pants with a wave pattern tightened by a yellow line, which also has a badge attached, and also wears a pair of blue sandals. Later, she receives a blue Z-Ring that she wears on her left wrist.
Personality[]
In the games[]
Lana likes to tell jokes with her friends. She, however, cares deeply for her Pokémon and despises animal cruelty. Lana also has a bit of a mischievous part of to her personality, considering she sometimes likes to scare her friends.
In the anime[]
Lana is generally a pleasant and nice girl. As her appearance suggests, she likes Water-type Pokémon and has a great connection with them (though she is generally kind and caring to all her Pokémon). While she is usually quiet, she is actually a girl of action. However, despite her quietness, she apparently gets incredibly embarrassed very easily when teased about romance, as shown when people asked her numerous times if Ash was her boyfriend. Additionally, while Lana usually keeps her cool, she sometimes gets upset and loses her temper, often as a result of Pokémon being mistreated or her sisters teasing her.
On the other side, Lana has a mischievous part to her personality. She sometimes scares her friends with haunted stories and likes to joke about having seen or caught a very rare Pokémon in the sea (for example, Kyogre), with Ash usually being the main person to fall for her jokes.

Lana is a student at the Pokémon School and one of Ash Ketchum's new friends and classmates in Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon.

- She is the first of Ash's companions whose starter Pokémon fully evolved before Ash.
