Lance is one of the characters who appeared in the Pokémon anime series. He is the Champion of the Indigo League and the Johto League, and he is also a member of the Pokémon G-Men, an organization that specializes in exposing the dangerous activities of shady organizations, which is notable in the cases of Team Rocket, Team Magma, and Team Aqua. In order to fit in, Lance will dress as one of the members in order to spy on them to learn everything he can about their plans and will do anything to sabotage them when he has the opening to do so.
Personality[]
Lance has an honorable disposition about him, and he cares greatly for his Pokémon and regards them as friends. He often takes his job as a member of the G-Men very seriously and he doesn't want anyone outside the organization to be harmed. Lance is mostly independent and often works on his own, but he is willing to accept help from others to take on harder missions. When he saw that Ash and his friends are just as worried about the Red Gyarados as he is, he quickly befriends them. He is also shown to be extremely knowledgeable on the legends that stem in various regions, which is exhibited when Lance tells Maxie about the Red and Blue Orb's true purpose that they stole, and after the epic battle between Groudon and Kyogre, he tells Ash and his friends the tale of the two Pokémon, whose battle they recently witnessed.
