Lanteveldt is one of the supporting characters of the manga/anime series Sacrificial Princess and the King of Beasts.
He is voiced by Tasuku Hatanaka in the Japanese version, Orion Pitts in the English version and Grischa Olbrich in the German version. As a child, he is voiced by Yuka Takakura in the Japanese version, Laura Faverty in the English version. He is played by Hikaru Imamaki in 2024 stage adaptation.

He comes from the independent state of the Hyenafolk, he never knew his father and his mother passed away from her sickness when he was a child.
When Sariphi is assigned to visit Maasya to inspect the troops and see the appointing of the new lord, Lanteveldt is the only one who volunteers. She asks him if she can calls him Lante, and he annoys everyone but her due to his lack of manners. On the journey, Lante makes them take a detour that gets them attacked by giant sand serpents, but he defeats them. He admits to Sariphi that he lured them on purpose to make himself look good. When he, Sariphi and others arrive on Maasya, her message to tell troops that Leonhart believes in them and to do their best. At the night, troops harass and distrust Lante for being a Hyena, citing that his people were once traitors, but Sariphi scolds them. Lante dismisses her as naive when he lies about himself and she believes him until he reveals the truth about his past.
