“ | I always knew he'd come back. In this town, Michael Myers is a myth. He's the Boogeyman. A ghost story to scare kids. But this Boogeyman is real. An evil like his never stops, it just grows older. Darker. More determined. Forty years ago, he came to my home to kill. He killed my friends, and now he's back to finish what he started, with me. The one person who's ready to stop him. | „ |

While she was babysitting, Laurie walks to the Wallace house to see how things were, and she soon sees the dead bodies of her friends, Annie, Lynda and Bob Simms. She soon gets attacked by Michael Myers and he tries to kill her, but failed as Laurie fights back by attacking him with various weapons. Michael soon gets back up and strangles her, but he gets shot six times by Dr. Samuel Loomis, who investigated the house, making him fall off the balcony, but survives the shots and gets up and walks away.
Halloween (2018)[]
In the 2018 timeline, Laurie is now old and is still waiting for Michael after 40 years and is ready to finish him off once and for all as she armed her house with various weapons and puts up security systems. Her behavior has also lead to strained relationships with her family, especially her daughter, Karen Nelson. She fights Michael in the climax and traps him in the hidden room below and drops a flare to burn him to death and escapes the burning house with her daughter and her granddaughter Allyson Nelson.
Halloween Kills[]
Laurie is now hospitalized and soon realizes from Tommy Doyle that Michael is still alive and tries to face him again, but to no avail due to Karen trying to keep her safe. She has a talk with Deputy Frank Hawkins about Michael.
Halloween Ends[]
Laurie is now taking care of Allyson after her mom died and looks after her and becomes suspicious of the man, Corey who is dating her (and who Laurie defended from the teenage bullies) and wants to help Corey but warns him to stay away from Allyson. Laurie tries to warn Allyson of him being a serial killer like Michael but doesn't get listened to and gets blamed for ruining Allyson's life.
When she was typewriting, she seemingly commits suicide, but it turns out she was faking it and she shoots at Corey when he enters her house and Corey commits suicide by stabbing himself in the neck to make it look like Laurie killed him. When Allyson sees this, she believes Laurie killed him and runs away to her car and drives off. Then, Michael attacks her in her house and she fights against him for the final time and pins him to the table, but Michael strangles Laurie and almost kills her, but suddenly, Allyson, who came back, saves her by breaking his arm. The police arrive and they, Laurie, and Allyson take Michael to the salvage yard, which attracts residents of Haddonfield. Laurie then finally finishes Michael off by putting him into the industrial shredder, finally killing him.
