Lawrence is a supporting character from Maze Runner: The Death Cure.
He is the leader of a Crank army whose plan is to destroy WCKD and the Last City.
Lawrence is portrayed by Walton Goggins, who also portrays Wallace in Shanghai Noon, Shane Vendrell in The Shield, Boyd Crowder in Justified, Clay Hawkins in Lincoln, Billy Crash in Django Unchained, Chris Mannix in The Hateful Eight, Lee Russell in Vice Principals, Mathias Vogel in the 2018 remake of Tomb Raider, Sonny Burch in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and Wade Felton in The Unicorn.

Maze Runner: The Death Cure[]
Sometime after the Gladers have escaped the Maze, Lawrence sends his Crank crew to the WCKD lab, where they find Gally still lying on the floor with the spear still in his chest and, after discovering that he is immune to the Flare, pull the spear out of his chest and take him to the Last City to meet Lawrence, who heals Gally of the spear wound and convinces him to join his crew.
One year later, Lawrence is introduced by Gally to Thomas, Newt, Frypan, Brenda, and Jorge, who Gally rescued from the turrets WCKD aimed at them and the crowd outside the walls of the Last City. Thomas tells Lawrence that he, Newt, Frypan, Brenda, and Jorge need to get into the WCKD tower, as Gally said that he can get them through the walls of the Last City. Lawrence replies that the way into the WCKD tower is impossible. Gally replies that the way into the WCKD tower won't work without Thomas. When Lawrence asks Thomas why he should trust him, Thomas replies that WCKD has something they both want. Lawrence tells Thomas that he, Newt, and Gally can go into the Last City while Frypan, Brenda, and Jorge stay behind. Thomas agrees and shakes Lawrence's hand.
Two nights later, when Thomas, Teresa, Newt, and Gally arrive in the WCKD tower to rescue Minho, Gally plugs a jamming device into the electrical box, allowing Lawrence's crew to hack into WCKD's security systems and gun turrets and shut them down.
Lawrence gives his Crank army a speech before driving to destroy the walls of the Last City. While driving to the walls of the Last City, Lawrence lights a flare stick in his hand. The flare stick in Lawrence's hand explodes, killing him and destroying the walls of the Last City, allowing the Crank army to storm into the Last City and destroy it.
