Leónardo Alexander "Leon" Vargas IV is one of the deuteragonists of the Disney Channel Latin-American series Violetta and a major character its 2016 standalone film Tini: The New Life of Violetta.
He is a handsome, talented and passionate guy. He is from Mexico and comes from a wealthy family. Leon attends On Beat Studio where he pursues his dream of music. He is a member of the boy band All For You with his friends. In addition to his musical interests, he participates in motorcross, another great passion of his.

Personality[]
Although he is initially arrogant, conceited and full of himself, Leon is actually an honest guy with a golden heart.
Being a part of Ludmila's group, he acts rude and arrogant to secure his status. However, Leon's love for Violetta changes him into a better person. He starts acting nicer to the other students in the studio (except for Tomas who is his rival for Violetta's heart) and becomes friends with those he used to view as "uncool". He realizes that he doesn't enjoy being a mean person and finds more fulfilment and joy in working with others and being their friend.
Leon often takes charge in group assignments and possesses many leadership skills. He sometimes makes impulsive decisions when he is forced to make major decisions regarding his career and future.
He helps Violetta with many things and is shown to be very protective of her. However, he also has a tendency to become easily jealous. Despite this, his heart is always in the right place - wanting to support, protect and love her all he can.

- Originally Leon wasn't meant to be Violetta current boyfriend at the end of the first season. However, with Pablo Espinosa departing the series, this was changed so Violetta didn't end up with León nor Tomás. Pablo Espinosa was billed third in the first season behind Martina Stossel, with Jorge Blanco, who was billed fourth, taking over while the former was written off the series.
