Biography[]
Not much is shown about Huxley's history but she was presumably born in the early 21st century.
San Angeles has become a world free of violence and chaos with Raymond Cocteau at the realm who has outlawed anything unhealthy or unruly.
Huxley was shown to be bored of the lack of action in her line of duty, and was thinking about how exciting things had been during the 20th century. She made this quite clear when she was talking to Warden Smithers during a check up on the cryo-prison (an area that cryogenically freezes criminals and leaves them in suspended animation for an amount of time depending on their sentence). She was berated for this by her superior Chief George Earle and questioned by her fellow officer Alfredo Garcia, especially when he saw the vast collection of 20th century-based items she had.
However, Huxley wanted so much for some action to take place but when she saw a dangerous cryo-con by the name of Simon Phoenix committing several murders and brutally attacking her fellow police officers, she learnt the lesson of being careful what you wish for.
Unable to deal with someone as dangerous as Phoenix as the S.A.P.D. were not trained for such brutality and had no weapons other than glow rods, at Zachary Lamb's suggestion they freed John Spartan aka The Demolition Man (nicknamed by the amount of devastation caused during the course of his duty), a former L.A.P.D. sergeant who had been serving time there and had apprehended Phoenix before, to do it once again.
Huxley tried her best to help Spartan to fit in and sympathized his pain of losing his wife. She also idolized Spartan after researching about him and during their mission to capture Phoenix, naively considered who he was, a macho blow-up the bad guys sort of person until Spartan made it very clear during a meeting with the Scraps (groups of people hiding underneath San Angeles) that hurting people is not a good thing and he is only doing his job of protecting people and things just get demolished. She also was horrified at way Spartan believed in proper sexual intercourse (which was deemed illegal) rather than Virtual Reality as she considered fluid transfer actions such as kissing to be disgusting.
Later they discovered that Cocteau, the beloved founder of San Angeles was responsible for Phoenix's escape and had given him a rehabilitation program that gave him increased strength and various forms of violence to assassinate the leader of the Scraps, Edgar Friendly, who resented Cocteau's society and was seen as a threat.
During another investigation at Cocteau's headquarters, she and Spartan fought some of Phoenix's henchman, one of which she had to gun down to protect Spartan. She was uncomfortable with killing someone, but Spartan assured her that it was necessary. They find Cocteau dead with his corpse burning to a crisp in the fireplace. He had been killed by one of Phoenix's henchmen, putting an end to his plan. They then saw that Phoenix was attempting to free many more cryo-cons to make an unstoppable gang. She was then stunned by her own glow rod by Spartan while he set off to confront Phoenix alone. Spartan managed to kill Phoenix, stop his operation and destroy the cryo-prison.
After Huxley recovered, she went to see Spartan who assured her that what he did was to keep her out of danger and they shared a real kiss that Huxley seemed to enjoy and made even bigger. They then depart with Spartan saying that he was going to like the future with Huxley adding "Now that you've demolished everything."
Skills[]
Though Huxley was a police officer of the 21st century, she had vast knowledge of the previous 20th. This was seen when she was able to drive an ordinary car as opposed to her cruiser, use Martial Arts on one of Phoenix's goons from skills she had learnt from watching several Jackie Chan movies and gun down another, despite guns were banned and only kept in a museum by this time.
