Lex Woods is one of the two main protagonists (alongside Scar) of the 2004 sci-fi horror film, Alien vs. Predator. She is an artifact researcher who went to the planet in order to grow a name for Charles Bishop Weyland-Yutani.

Biography[]

Origins[]

Lex Woods, daughter of Alexander Woods, was an explorer and environmentalist renowned for being the youngest woman to summit Mount Everest without oxygen. She split her time between environmental advocacy and guiding mountain expeditions.

Aliens vs. Predators[]

Lex was responsible for the expedition organized by Weyland to find the pyramid, where the Predators and Aliens were found. She takes her responsibilities very seriously. Unknown to her, her team is lured there to breed some xenomorphs for a hunt.

After her team massacre, she teamed up with Scar and fought against the xenomorphs. During the final fight against the Alien Queen, both her and Scar managed to defeat the thing but cost in the life of Scar. She is left a mark, now become a well-respected human by the predators themselves.

Lex narrowly survived a Predator attack when the creature was killed by a Xenomorph, Grid. After Weyland sacrificed himself to buy time, Lex and Sebastian, the archaeologist, sought to ally with the Predator, Scar, to stop the growing Xenomorph threat. They returned Scar’s plasma cannon, solidifying the alliance.

In the hive, Lex found Sebastian cocooned and reluctantly ended his life to prevent a chestburster's emergence. Scar set his self-destruct device, and they narrowly escaped the hive's destruction. Recognizing Lex's warrior spirit, Scar crafted her weapons from Alien remains and marked her as an equal.

The Alien Queen, having survived, attacked Lex and Scar. Together, they defeated her, but Scar succumbed to his injuries. A Predator ship arrived, honoring Scar and gifting Lex a retractable spear before departing. Lex returned to the Weyland icebreaker, forever changed by her harrowing experience.

Trivia[]
