She does everything in her power to maintain peace among all nations, even if it goes against tradition.
History[]
Lexa first appears, pretending to be a maid when Jaha and Kane are imprisoned by Trikru. While Kane is kept imprisoned, Lexa sends Jaha to deliver a message to her people, telling them they have two days to leave or they will die. The Commander later executes Finn Collins who murdered several Grounders to find Clarke. However, it is Clarke who executes the latter, not wanting him to be tortured to death by the Grounders, much to Lexa's shock.
Then, Lexa manages to make an alliance with Clarke to save their people, both prisoners of Mount Weather. However, a deal is made with Emerson, a guard, which allows only the people to come out of Lexa, betraying Clarke.
In season three, Lexa now directs Polis, supported by Indra and Titus. Roan arrives in the throne room and brings him Wanheda, who is actually Clarke. Despite this, she has Roan locked up until his mother, Nia, Queen of Azgeda, does not honor the Coalition. Along with Kane, Abby, and Clarke, Lexa offers them to be the Thirteenth Clan of this Coalition, though Clarke remains suspicious of her betrayal at Mount Weather. Later, Lexa participates in a deadly fight against Roan to overthrow her. Suddenly, Lexa finally pierces Nia with her spear to then crown Roan, King of Azgeda, knowing that he will honor the Coalition.
Lexa gets closer and closer to Clarke, welcoming her to Polis, but Titus is afraid for her that the same thing will happen to Clarke as with Costia, angering Lexa who tells him that she will handle her emotions and put her duty first. After having sex with Lexa, Clarke is about to leave but is blocked by Titus who aims her with a gun. But, he accidentally shoots Lexa who dies from her injury. Titus then removes the Flame from his neck and begins the conclave to appoint the next Commander. While A.L.I.E. takes control of everyone in the City of Lights, Lexa Clarke's mind to defeat the worshipers and turn off the AI.
In season seven, the Judge takes on the appearance of Lexa for Clarke and says that she will not transcend for all the crimes she committed, including killing Cadogan who passed the test before her.
