Li Xingke is a supporting character of the Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion franchise. He is a former bodyguard of Gao Hai (one of the High Eunuchs of the Chinese Federation) and is the fiercely loyal protector of Empress Tianzi, who saved his life from execution years ago and seems to have a crush on him. Xingke is also a descendant of the first emperor and founder of the Han Dynasty Liu Sou.

He was voiced by Hikaru Midorikawa (who also voiced Android 16, Mitsuhide Akechi, and Hayate) in Japanese and by David Vincent in English.

Appearance

Xingke is a tall chinese man with black long hairs, brown pupils and has usually a serious expression in his eyes. He wears a short blue qipao or traditional chinese martial art uniform with short dark blue sleeves, gold buttons with a white long shirt underneath, a pair of brown boots and black pants.

He often carries with him a sword with a blue and gold guard, gold pommel and blue grip that is attached a red bandana that is around his waist. He has a red arm ring on each of his upper arms and a blue, gold long arm ring on his on each his lower arms.

Personality

He has a strong sense of loyalty for his country and wishes to improve the nation. He is extremely devoted to Empress Tianzi and will go great lengths to protect her, which even includes killing Gao Hai and invading Tiazi's arranged marriage to save her.

He displays a level of intelligence when he was dealing with the Order of the Black Knights, who were under the protection of the Chinese Federation from Britannia. According to what he said to Kallen Kōzuki when they first met, he also seems to have an interest for Knightmare pilots.

Biography

A minor officer within the Chinese Federal Military, Li Xingke swore his loyalty and life to the young Empress Tianzi after she saved him from being executed for showing mercy to a prisoner. Now, he has dedicated his life to climbing the ladder of the Chinese Military to gain enough power to overthrow the de facto rulers of the Federation, the Eunuchs, and grant the Empress her greatest wish: to see the outside world. Considering the fact that he is said, and has mostly proven, to have both the strength of Suzaku and the intelligence of Lelouch, this is very likely.
