Liao Chun, also known as Liao Hua, is a major character in the 14th-century Chinese classic novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms by the late Luo Guanzhong, and its multiple adaptations. He is one of the generals of Shu.
History[]
Liao Hua was a former member of Yellow Turbans, which meet with Guan Yu in the first place, by the time was ordered to support him have a better choice. Upon his accepting by Guan Yu, he manage to saving Liu Bei's two wives, Lady Gan and Lady Mi from Du Yuan and various bandits. Further is more that carry up of the way, Liao Hua remind that Guan Yu takes his efforts to passing the actions. He then becomes one of his mainly subordinates and but will participated at the next parts for the battles. During the Battle of Fan Castle, Liao Hua later joined Guan Yu and his son, Guan Ping to against Wei and Wu forces.
After learning this, Guan Yu would understand that his brother territories in Jing Province is taking over by Sun Quan's forces, just happening withdrawn to Maicheng and that occasionally surrounded by Wu. When Liao Hua was in Maicheng, he try to make reinforcements from Liu Feng and Meng Da in Shangyong which lead both of them to have be rejection, much to their shame. As for lasting, Liao Hua arriving in Chengdu, and report to Liu Bei about bad news. Guan Yu must died after being executed by Lu Meng together with his son, Liu Bei is founding the kingdom of Shu since he becomes the emperor in order to ruling all.
2 years later, Liu Bei going to makes advancing of launch an attacked Wu when he wants gets revenge for Guan Yu and regain his regions from Jing Province. Liao Hua will arrival aided him with his mother, which they encountering the Shu forces as well as setting up to rampage towards Sun Quan. Soon after of Liu Bei's death, Liao Hua later served under the prime minister, Zhuge Liang. He also joined the Shu campaigns (Zhuge Liang's Northern Expeditions and Jiang Wei's Northern Expeditions) to resistance of Wei. He deals with the regent, Sima Yi and gains his helmet, in which this object had using of scoff and provoked the Wei forces.
Upon Zhuge Liang's death, Liao Hua following Jiang Wei to taking place of the most wars, which he able to does for a kudos. When Sima Zhao lead many of his army to attack Chengdu, Liao Hua cooperated with his troops and immediately repelled Wei in order to helps complete Jiang Wei's plans. At this time, Jiang Wei willingly planned to restoring the country with power, he was about to surrendering to Zhong Hui due to his anti-rebellion had failed, the Shu forces are fell in the battle. In the great of the showdown, as Wei conquering Shu and making Liu Shan surrendered, Liao Hua decided moving to Luoyang from the fallen kingdom, which he suddenly dies in illness.
