“ | Nobody expects much from me. They think that a C-Class won't be much help. I know that better than anyone. I'm not good enough for B-Class I'm weak even I know that much no one has to tell me I have no chance of beating you. I all ready know that. Even so I must try it's not about winning or losing. It's about me taking you on right here right now. | „ |

~ License-less Rider |
Satoru, better known by his hero name License-less Rider, is a recurring character from the webcomic, manga and anime series One Punch Man. He's an C-Class Superhero based in Z-City currently ranked #1 out of all C-Class heroes and is a member of the Hero Association. He's known as Rider due to his passionate nature and determination as a hero and his inability to ride a motorcycle.
He is voiced by Yuichi Nakamura in the Japanese version of the anime, who also voiced Reinhard van Astrea in Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World, Satoru Gojo in Jujutsu Kaisen, Hawks in My Hero Academia, Basara Toujou in Shinmai Maou no Keiyakusha: The Testament of Sister New Devil, Bruno Bucciarati in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind, Tsukasa Shishio in Dr. Stone, Gray Fullbuster in Fairy Tail, Greed in Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Renji Yomo in Tokyo Ghoul, Dwarf Shaman in Goblin Slayer, Guren Ichinose in Seraph of the End, and Sairaorg Bael in the High School DxD franchise, and by Robbie Daymond in the English version.
Appearance[]
License-less Rider is an average young man at the age of 25 of average weight and height. He's seen usually wearing a light brown armored suit that covers his entire torso and shoulders. He has a black leather suit underneath his armor with black gauntlets and knee pads. He wears a green helmet with dark shades and underneath is short brown hair and another pair of glasses.
Personality[]
License-less Rider is an extremely strong-willed, brave, and determinant hero who will never give up even in the direst of situations. This honorable trait will never let him overlook any crimes to protect the innocent people. However, despite this, he often never gives up no matter how strong his opponents are even at the cost of his own life and also greatly respects other heroes that are better than himself. Rider is a great seeker of justice.
Like Saitama, Rider may also have a pure heart, as he is aware that some villains still have humanity left in them, such as Garou, Silver Fang's former disciple who turned into a villain.
Powers and Abilities[]
Rider is one of the weakest characters in One Punch Man, only surpassed by King. He has no powers or special abilities, nor does he seem to have true training for crime-fighting. Despite this, he is a brave and honorable hero who'd never leave an innocent at the hands of a villain and has displayed some notorious skills as the series progress.
- Enhanced Strength: While he is notoriously weak physically speaking, he has managed to fight against many criminals and some supernatural monsters for a certain amount of time before being defeated. His fights against Deep Sea King and Angry Grandpa are notorious examples, surviving the fight with the former and hurting the latter (and both were monsters immune to gunfire).
- Enhanced Speed: Again, horrifically outclassed by many characters (some of whom can run beyond light speed,) but he is noted to be quite fast, being able to drive on his bicycle at high speed.
- Enhanced Athleticism: He seems to be in good form, possibly due to his extensive bicycle-exercise.
- Enhanced Durability: Despite having no superhuman abilities, he's survived encounters with powerful enemies and keeps getting up despite his injuries. He's been in a fight with the likes of Deep Sea King, Hammerhead, and his crew, Garou, etc. He's lost on all those occasions, but remains steadfast in his commitment to fight crime despite the wounds. It should be noted that all of the previously mentioned villains are, at the very least, capable of destroying buildings.
- Enhanced Stamina: He can fight for a long amount of time and keep going despite the injuries he sustains. While he has no strength to match his opponents, he has the endurance to take the pain they inflict.
- Indomitable Will: Despite being weak (and seeing himself as not worthy of being a B-class hero) he'll never give up if innocent people are in danger, even if it means risking his life. His will can be compared with Saitama's will, as both of them refuse to leave before fighting no matter the danger (Saitama kept training despite all the pain and fatigue, to the point he would became nauseous and throw up).
Techniques[]
License-Less Rider possesses his own set of techniques that he uses on combat if necessary.
- Justice Tackle: Mumen Rider tackles his opponent. This attack is effective enough to make Angry Grandpa let go of his hostage.
- Justice Punch: Mumen Rider punches his opponent. This attack is effective enough to hurt Angry Grandpa.
- Justice Kick: Mumen Rider kicks his opponent. This attack is effective enough to hurt Angry Grandpa.
- Justice Crane High Kick: Mumen Rider kicks his opponent. This attack is effective enough to knock Angry Grandpa down.
- Justice Crash: Mumen Rider uses "Justice" as a projectile, hurling his bicycle at his opponent.
Quotes[]
“ | No, stop! Have you forgotten who you are a Class S hero on the verge of killing a human? You already won the fight, we're suppose to protect people. | „ |
~ Mimen Riser saving Garou from being killed. |
