Lilia Kudelfeyt is one of the main female protagonists and the tritagonist of the Japanese Light Novel franchise Vermeil in Gold. She is also the childhood friend of the main protagonist, Alto Goldfield.
She was voiced by Wakana Kuramochi in Japanese (who also voiced Liselotte Arcia from Reborn to Master the Blade: From Hero-King to Extraordinary Squire) and Kira Vincent-Davis in English.
Overview[]
Lilia is the daughter of Alto's hometown's landlord and her family is renowned for having a long lineage of distinguished magicians. Since, she and Alto were childhood friends, Alto used to study magic with her.
When Vermeil shown her perversion of getting extremely close to Alto, this caused Lilia to developed her jealousy and challenge Vermeil into a duel, if Lilia wins, Vermeil must be in Alto's dorm but can come out whenever Alto needs her, but if Vermeil wins, she'll do whatever Vermeil wants towards Lilia. However, Lilia was easily defeated by Vermeil but begrudgingly become friends with Vermeil by Alto's wish. She still viewed Vermeil as her love rival when she going to proof to her that Alto loves her. Despite she learned that Vermeil is a devil, Lilia doesn't care of Vermeil's true identity when she revealed that some humans can be good and some humans can be evil.
Appearance[]
Lilia is a beautiful young woman with a blue eyes and peach hair color. She worn a pair of red ribbons both side of her hair. She wore a blue student uniform for girls.
Personality[]
At the beginning of the early chapters, she has shown to be a caring person who usually takes to ridiculous lengths to help people. She is really a prospective student who takes drastic measures to look upon the situations as she is very hostile towards Vermeil. She is also a very airheaded person which made her not realize what she's doing when she is acting on her emotions. According to Alto, she is a very stubborn girl who tends to go through sentiments. Even though most of the time, she stays calm and acts rational, she loses her mind when she got angry or embarrassed.
She is in love with Alto, which is obvious to everyone except the said person. She acts as a tsundere when someone asks her whether she likes Alto or not, bashfully refusing it while blushing heavily. As being sensitive and temperamental, Lilia always ends up expressing their true feelings when she explodes. She will act rudely one moment but act with honesty and kindness the next. She is revealed to be perverted when she goes as far to sneaked into Alto's dorm while using a potion to temporarily become invisible. She shown sorrow when Vermeil nearly killed Alto accidentally after she has gone berserk due to Obsidian's betrayal towards his students by dosing but failed to control Vermeil. When Vermeil saved Alto from his near death, Lilia shown her tears of relief as she hugged Alto.
Lilia has a love rivalry towards Vermeil (a devil who is Alto Goldfield's familiar) due to her her obnoxiously perversion towards Alto. Though she accepted her defeat and become friends with Vermeil, but she still won't accept Vermeil of getting closer to Alto as she became her love rival. Despite she learned that Vermeil turned out to be a devil, Lilia is willing to keep her true identity and won't tell anyone her secret. Even if Vermeil is a devil, Lilia doesn't care of Vermeil's identity when she considered her as a good person as well told her that some people can be good and some of them can be evil despite devils are humanity's sworn enemies. Even if Vermeil would be persecuted, Lilia will always be by Alto's side.
Abilities And Powers[]
- Immense Summon: Lilia is a talented summoner when she summoned a high level wind spirit Harpie known as Sylpheed.
- Alchemy Proficiency: Lilia has proficiency of chemicals. She crafted a potion that temporarily turned anything invisible but not completely for any living beings while wearing clothes.
