Lilo Pelekai is the titular deuteragonist of the 2025 science fiction comedy film Lilo & Stitch, the live-action remake of the 2002 animated feature film of the same name.
Like the animated counterpart, Lilo is an orphaned girl from Hawaii, the younger sister of Nani Pelekai who adopts the illegal experiment, Stitch. They eventually become very close during their time together.
She is portrayed by Maia Kealoha.
Appearance[]
Lilo is a six-year-old girl with long dark brown hair, tanned skin and brown eyes. Like her animated counterpart, Lilo wears a red outfit with white flowers; however, in addition to this, she wears blue overalls. Her pajamas consist of a white shirt and black shorts.
Personality[]
Lilo is considered a "weirdie" by Mertle and her other peers. She enjoys listening to Elvis Presley music and hula dancing. Lilo is also mischievous throughout the film, but after adopting Stitch, makes Lilo realize how far mischief shouldn't go.
Ever since her parents' deaths, Lilo values family above everything. Despite this, Lilo is a lonely little girl who doesn't want to be separated from her family. During her time with Stitch, Lilo's big heart shines, as she is the one who teaches him that he's not evil. Overtime, Stitch and Lilo act more as siblings than owner and pet. Lilo is also brave, going up against Jumba on her own, all just to save Stitch.

Lilo Pelekai was born in 2019 on the island of Kekoa to Mr. and Mrs. Pelekai. She had an older sister, Nani. Unfortunately, their parents died in a car crash a few years ago. Nani got full custody of Lilo once she turned 18.

- Unlike the original film, Lilo's parents passed away a few years ago instead of recently. Additionally, she's given over to David and his grandmother so that way, Lilo and Nani can stay together and she can go to school to stufy as a marine biologist.
- Aside from Lilo's last name being seen on Stitch's adoption papers and being mentioned as her last name in Leroy & Stitch, her and Nani's last name is shown a few more times.
- Lilo wears overalls with her red shirt with white flowers, instead of a red dress.
