Lily is the tritagonist of the 2000 film, Thomas and the Magic Railroad. She is played by Mara Wilson, who also portrayed Matilda Wormwood from Matilda.

She lives in the city with her mother. With the help of her grandfather and Patch, they helped restore Lady to her former glory and returned the magic to the Magic Railroad.

She wears a purple jumper, white khaki trousers, and black shoes.

Lily is a young 12 year old girl who lives in the city. She is a bit of a tomboy.

  • This was Mara Wilson's final film role to date.
  • Lily's age is 12 years old in the film.
  • Lily has a stuffed bluebird that she takes everywhere with her, which looks similar to the bluebird from the Shining Time Station television series logo.
  • It is unknown if her last name is Stone or not.
  • Both her Wooden Railway and Wind-up toys have her in a green shirt, depicting the outfit she wore when getting on the Rainbow Sun.
  • Even though she is one of his enemies, Diesel 10 didn't interact with Lily in Thomas and the Magic Railroad.
  • In the original cut of the film, Lily married to Patch and telling the story to her children 20 years later, was the narrator.
  • Her father was away at work.
  • Lily has an unborn sibling, which is the reason for her going to visit her grandfather.
  • Lily is the only character in the film to appear in all three scenes in which the Magic Railroad appears.
  • Because the original storyline where Lily served as the narrator was never finished, in the workprint and deleted scenes on the 2020 Blu-ray release Lily's narration is provided by the late Britt Allcroft.
