Lin Lee Koo (Japanese: リンリー・クー, Rinrī Kū, Lynlee Ku) is the tritagonist of the video game, Xenoblade Chronicles X. She is a BLADE engineer, and a member of the Outfitters Division, assisting in the development of Skells and other weaponry.

She is voiced by Mariya Ise in the Japanese version of the game and by Cassandra Lee Morris in its English dub.

Personality[]

Lin is an enthusiastic, optimistic girl with a strong fascination for developing Skells and working on machinery as a whole. Ever since her parents passed away, Lin has made it her life's work to carry on the work of her parents, playing her role in saving humanity. She is seen by many as a prodigy amongst her peers, due to her genius intellect and expertise at engineering.

As she serves as a member in her team, she treats Elma with nothing but respect, who in turn acknowledges all the hard work she puts in BLADE. She also maintains a close relationship with Rook once she gets to interact and know about them more, viewing them as a father/mother figure.

Because of her young age, however, she tends act a little playful and teasing at times, most notably in her relationship with Tatsu, in which she likes to view him as food and threatens to cook him from time to time. Despite this, she considers him a valuable friend the same way she does for everyone else that is a part of Elma's team.

Likewise, Lin has shown to be a very sympathetic and reasonable individual, often wanting to solve conflict through reason instead of violence. This is demonstrated in her relationship with Lao who, even after serving as a Ganglion spy, Lin understood what he was going through and wanted to give him a chance to prove himself.

Lin wears hair clips that bare a strong resemblance to the Monado, specifically its first form. In the Definitive Edition, she only sports one clip instead of two.
She is the youngest member on Elma's team, being 13 years old.
