Lin Beifong is a secondary character in The Legend of Korra. She and Korra didn't get along at all at first, but then Lin had different views of Korra after "And the Winner Is......." and she displayed her liking for Korra at one time after she refuses to tell Amon where Korra is hiding during the Battle for Republic City. Lin Beifong is the daughter of Toph Beifong, on of the main characters of Avatar: The Last Airbender. Lin was the Chief of Police in Republic City, but then resigned from the rank and was succeded by Captain Saikhan.
