Lin Fan serves as one of the two main protagonists of the webcomic series "The Strongest Man From The Mental Hospital". He is presumed to be a mentally ill patient ever since a child and everyone misunderstood him as a crazy guy that enjoys self-harm activities.
History[]
When Lin Fang was a child, he obtains a mysterious system that gives tasks in order for him to train his body and become stronger, but it results in him constantly harming himself in all sorts of possible ways, since no one except Lin can see and hear this system, it causes his surroundings to misunderstood that he is a mentally ill person, thus, the doctors have filed a report and claimed that Lin Fang has level 6 insanity, his family was in shambles upon the discovery, his parents not long after abandons him in the mental hospital and moves away.
Lin is locked in Room 666 and befriends another patient name Mr. Zhang, a man who believes he's an supernatural acupuncture expert, the two eventually got along and developed a great friendship whilst a reputation that would make them known to all the staffs as the most troublesome patients of the mental hospital.
Personality[]
Lin Fan is known as a very troublesome individual with an aloof and self-harm tendencies that are played for laughs. He would usually asked Zhang to harm him in any ways that could potentially kill a human just to get stronger, it is implied that Lin Fang is an airhead that easily forgets about other people's words, which was showcased multiple times in the webcomic.
However, in later chapters, it was revealed that Lin Fang is completely sane and suffers from no mental illnesses at all, showing that the real reason why he suffers from self-harming tendencies was because he constantly obeys the system's demands without any hesitations causing a lot of misunderstanding, and the real reason why he acted so aloof was because his parents not sending him to any schools in order to receive proper educations and learn common senses ending up with him being blissfully ignorant and single-minded.
