Lincoln Campbell is a supporting character in the Marvel TV series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., appearing as an anti-villain in Season 2 and one of the main protagonists of Season 3.

He was an Inhuman agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. and a member of the Secret Warriors. Originally siding with Jiaying during the War against the Inhumans, he decided to switch sides after beginning to doubt her intentions for humanity upon seeing her murder innocent agents.

Lincoln is portrayed by Luke Mitchell, who also portrays Will Benjamin in H2O: Just Add Water.

Biography

Lincoln Campbell was an Inhuman who was brought to Afterlife after he underwent Terrigenesis. He worked in Afterlife as a transitioner and helped Skye to control her powers. He originally sided with Jiaying during the War against the Inhumans but after beginning to doubt her intentions for humanity upon seeing her murder innocent agents, he switched sides and helped S.H.I.E.L.D. defeat her and stop her plans.

In the aftermath of the war, which resulted in Jiaying's death, Campbell attempted to start a new and peaceful life but he was instead forced to go into hiding after he learned that the monstrous Inhuman Lash and the ATCU were after him. This led him to officially join S.H.I.E.L.D., becoming a member of the Secret Warriors and also developed a romantic friendship with Daisy Johnson. When the ancient Inhuman Hive returned to Earth from the planet Maveth, his loyalty to S.H.I.E.L.D. was brought to a test as he was believed to have been infected by the dark Inhuman. Campbell eventually saved Johnson from Hive's mind control with the help of his former enemy, Lash. As the war with Hive reached its conclusion, Campbell sacrificed his life to save Daisy and the world.
