Linda is one of the three tritagonists (alongside Lily and Alice) of Kindergarten 3. She is an alligator who Davey claims to be the school mascot.
Biography[]
Linda lives in the pond by the school. Davey frequently plays with her, and the two of them form a bond. However, she is tempermental as she will bite the head off of anybody who dares to boop her. She also ends up having to defend herself against the Janitor who has been hired by Regis to kill her. In spite of the Janitor's efforts, Linda is able to take his arm and break his mop, forcing him to rethink his strategy. Davey does what he can to protect her from him. At the end of most days, Linda will be seen fighting the Janitor while Davey runs in to help her.
In Cold Blooded Killer, The Janitor recruits the protagonist to help him kill Linda, first by getting his arm back, and then by helping him get into the janitor closet to get a new mop. Once prepared, the protagonist confronts Linda and boops her in order to lure her into a trap, allowing the janitor to impale her in the head with a mop. Davey, horrified and heartbroken, mourns Linda's death while calling the Janitor and Protagonist monsters for killing her.
Gator Aid flips this around with the Protagonist opting to help Davey and Linda instead. However, Davey needs to know he can trust the protagonist, asking him to confront the Janitor. When the Protagonist tells the Janitor to leave Linda alone, the Janitor responds by beating the protagonist with his broken mop. This is enough to win Davey's trust, and with this, the trio plan out how to kill the Janitor. Davey gets Ms. Lovelett to put on a play of Red Riding Hood in order to get the axe. After working toward getting the axe, Davey notices the Janitor attacking Linda and thrusts the axe into his head. Linda, Grateful toward the Protagonist's help, rewards him with a green nugget of friendship which the protagonist can feed her to get a ride to a secret lab hidden within her pond.
Linda also provides help in Paging Dr. Goolittle. After the Protagonist, Lily, and Nugget disinfect all of the mutated animals in the school, the come to Linda and ask for her help in getting to the lab. Since there are going to be so many passengers, Linda agrees in the condition of a cut. Upon arrival, the party notices they are missing a bunny. Linda reveals that she ate the bunny and that said bunny was the cut she was talking about. With this, the party faces up against Regis sending each of their animal friends to subdue his defenses. After they run out though, Linda comes in and pounces on Regis, sending them both falling into a pool of goo below. Davey and the Protagonist follow behind in order to help her. There, they find that both Regis and Linda have been mutated by the goo. With the final battle now on, Davey rides on the mutated Linda's shoulder to help in her fight against Regis while the protagonist evades the laser cannons by hiding behind objects and Regis. Eventually, The trio trick Regis into having all three cannons fire at the goo core while Linda blasts Regis to oblivion with atomic breath. Before the trio can escape though, the school suddenly collapses.
