Linda McMahon is Vince McMahon's wife, Stephanie and Shane's mother in WWE. In 2000's, she was called Bitch by her daughter who slapped her in the face. However, on the October 10, 2005 edition of Raw, Linda shockingly became a villainess during the show's final segment.
Vince and Stephanie McMahon attempted to demand apologies from Raw's announce team for the events of the Homecoming special on the previous week, which saw Stone Cold Steve Austin deliver Stunners to the entire family, even Linda. Jerry Lawler and Jonathan Coachman acquiesced, but Jim Ross only apologized for what happened to Linda, not the rest. Vince and Stephanie bullied JR, which brought Linda out to diffuse the situation. However, in a surprising twist, Linda fired JR, doing so while brandishing a slightly evil smile on her face. Linda later delivered a kick to JR's groin and celebrated with her husband and daughter, cementing Linda as a villainess for the first time in her WWE career.
On the following week's edition of Raw, the evil Linda continued portraying her villainous persona in a segment with Mick Foley. She explained JR's termination by stating that he was undergoing colon surgery, but denied that her attack was the cause. Linda laughed evilly at Foley at the end of the segment and told him in a mocking tone to "Have a nice day!" Linda's last appearance as a villainess was at WrestleMania 22, when she was part of a "family prayer" involving Vince's match against Shawn Michaels. Linda has only made one appearance on WWE TV since then, but she did so as a babyface, ending her short villainous run.
