Link, also known as the Hero of Light, is the main protagonist of The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures.
Biography[]
Zelda and the other Seven Maidens call Link and open the door to the shrine of the Four Sword so he can go investigate because they are worried that the seal keeping Vaati in the Four Sword may be deteriorating. But Shadow Link manages to kidnap and imprison Zelda and the other maidens. Link is compelled to remove the Four Sword from its pedestal, even if doing so will set Vaati free, in order to divide himself into four parts and muster the strength to go and save the maidens. All seven of them are saved by the Links, who also gather the four Royal Jewels and utilize them to expose the Tower of Winds.
When he drew the Four Sword to split him into four like in the original Four Swords, Vaati was once more set free from the seal. He then followed Shadow Link down to the Four Sword Sanctuary. Zelda and the Links battled the dark lord Ganon and, with the aid of the Seven Maidens, sealed him within the Four Sword and brought peace to Hyrule after saving Zelda and the maidens, obtaining the four Royal Jewels from the heroes of Hyrule, and defeating Vaati. The Links are then once more merged into one after the sword is brought back to its refuge.
