Linze Mochizuki (née Silhoueska) is one of the secondary protagonists of the In Another World With My Smartphone franchise.
She is an adventurer from Refreese Imperium and is the younger twin of the Silhoueska twins, who were both saved from a swindler by Touya Mochizuki. In contrast to her close combat-oriented older twin Elze, Linze is a magic user, capable of using different types of magic, except for Null magic. She later becomes the Seventh Queen of Brunhild Dukedom, one of Touya's wives and the mother of Linne Mochizuki.
She is voiced by Yui Fukuo in Japanese. She is voiced by Jill Harris in English, who voiced Noelle Silva in Black Clover, Nino Nakano in The Quintessential Quinteplets and Mandalay in My Hero Academia.
Personality[]
Like Elze, Linze is a thirteen-year-old (later fifteen-year-old) teenage girl. She has neck-length silver hair that is styled with a purple and white bow and green eyes. She has a green bow on the small of her back and is wearing a green skirt. She is dressed in a long-sleeved purple shirt with white trim below her skirt, as well as purple and white tights.
Her knee-high boots are white with purple foot sections, which contrast with the colour of her tights. Linze, like her sister, is dressed in a turquoise necktie with a metal clip close to her neck. This clip resembles the Neptune astrological sign, which is also depicted on her skirt.
Personality[]
While Linze is probably just an hour younger than her twin sister, she behaves years younger when it comes to shyness. Linze is far more timid and prudish than her sister Elze. She might be quiet and hesitant, yet when necessary, she doesn't hesitate to speak. Because of this trait, Touya refers to her as the most frightful of his wives when she is furious, demonstrating when she coldly castigates Touya regarding his perversion during their visit to the Garden. She is smarter than her twin and also happens to be.
Like all women, Linze hates slimes and refused to take any quests involving slimes because they are slimy and worse of all, the green slimes melts people's clothes off.
Abilities[]
- Magical Aptitude: Contrasting with Elze, Linze has aptitude for the attributes fire, water, and light via using her silver wand but none for null attribute, something that her older twin only had initially. She is skilled with Fire Magic but incompetent with Light Magic, and her magic expertise varies depending on the element.
- Null Magic: Primarily, while she did not have Null magic at first, she later gained one via the engagement ring that Touya gave to her, thereby allowing her to use 【Accel】, 【Storage】,【Recovery】 and 【Transfer】.
- Firearms Expertise: Outside of using magic, Linze is proficient in the usage of firearms, specifically the revolver that Touya gave to her. It allows her to fire 【Paralyze】-imbued Rubber Bullets and Phrasium Bullets.
- Helmwige: Linze's personal, aerial-combat focused Frame Gear.

- Owing to the astronomical-named theming of Touya's wives, Linze's sign is Neptune.
- Though she was engaged to Touya second, she is one of the lower ranked Duchesses due to her commoner origins.
