Lio Fotia is the false antagonist of the 2019 anime movie Promare. He is the leader of the Mad Burnish, alongside Gueira and Meis.
He is voiced by Taichi Saotome in the Japanese version of the anime, and by Johnny Yong Bosch in the English version of the anime.
Apperance
Lio has light skin and green light hair, he has a petite frame, despite having a deeper graveled voice, his suit black leather shirt and pants with belts cover his hips.
Personality
At first glance, Lio has the appearance of someone cold and ruthless, but here is actually cordial and polite, holding high standards regarding the attacks, while also trying to have little to no casualties.
Lio is determined to help Galo against the Promare and Kray, it is also shown that he is capable of acts of bravery, like trying to absorb the fire through a kiss.
Trivia
- Ironically enough, Lio is intended to closely resemble a male version of Ryūko Matoi, the main protagonist of another Trigger production Kill la Kill.
