The last living Lion Turtle is an major character in the Avatar: The Last Airbender franchise.
He is gigantic, ancient creature who has existed since the beginning of time, and is one of the few known animals to have lived in the era of Raava. This lion turtle is the last of his kind, as the rest of the lion turtles were hunted and killed thousands of years before the Hundred Year War. he was by Kevin Michael Richardson
== Biography==
Aang communed with his past lives in hopes of finding a way to end the Hundred Year War while on the lion turtle. After the previous Avatars failed to provide Aang with a satisfying solution, the lion turtle revealed to him the power to bend the energy within oneself, which the Avatar later used to remove Fire Lord Ozai's bending abilities.
Having lived for eons, a large forest had sprouted on the lion turtle's back. He prefers to stay hidden from the rest of the world, and submerges his head underwater in order to appear like an ordinary island.
Powers & Abilities[]
The lion turtle possessed the incredibly powerul ability of energybending, being able to grant or revoke any of the four elements, as well as the ability to energybend itself. The lion turtle also could energybend without any potential risk of its spirit being damaged, suggesting that its spirit was unbendable.
Trivia[]
- It is unclear which element this lion turtle possessed in era before the Avatar, but the markings on his head are similar to that of the fire lion turtle.
- This lion turtle is significantly smaller than the ones which carried cities on their back.
