Lisa Ţepeş is one of the two overarching protagonists (alongside Leon Belmont) of Netflix's 2017 animated dark fantasy series Castlevania, which is based on the video game franchise of the same name.
She is the wife of Vlad "Dracula" Ţepeş, mother of Adrian "Alucard" Ţepeş, and a doctor by profession. Due to her medical work and displacing a local wise woman as the main doctor in Targovisteas, the wise woman reports her to the Bishop under false allegation of witchcraft. After inspecting her clinic, he agrees with the accusation and executes her.
Her death is what motivates Dracula to kill humanity out of vengeance and grief, creating the premise of the story's plot. Following Dracula's death, he searches for and finds her in Hell, where they find peace together being reunited. She is later resurrected by Saint Germain as part of Death's plot to revive her as a Rebis inhabiting hers and Dracula's soul.
The Rebis is killed by Trevor Belmont, and she is revived in her original body alongside Dracula, where they agree to start a new life and to eventually reunite Alucard after giving him time for closure after all the events that occurred.
In English, she is voiced by Emily Swallow. In Japanese, she is voiced by Azuma Tanaka.
