Londo Bell is a task force set up by Earth Federation to combat violent Zeon movements and the main protagonist faction of the anime movie Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack.
History[]
Following the end of the First Neo Zeon War, Londo Bell was formed by the Earth Federation to combat any other violent Zeon movements in the Earth Sphere. Its members included many former members of the Anti-Earth Union Group and Karaba, who had also fought against Axis Zeon in the First Neo Zeon War.
When another Neo Zeon movement emerged led by Char Aznable and began a violent campaign against the Earth Federation to finally achieve the Zeon ideal, Londo Bell saw its military forces dramatically increased by the Earth Federation Forces in order to contend with the Neo Zeon threat. Ultimately, Londo Bell was successful in putting down the second Neo Zeon movement in the Second Neo Zeon War and successfully foiled Neo Zeon's attempt to drop the Axis asteroid base on Earth.
Londo Bell later fought in the Cosmo Babylonia against the Crossbone Vanguard, which sought to take over the colonies and establish "cosmic aristocracy".
