~ Lonni to Luthen Rael |
Supervisor Lonni Jung is a major character in the Disney+ Star Wars series Andor.
At first appearing as a regular ISB Agent, Jung is later revealed to be a spy working for Luthen Rael. Torn between his family life and his duties to the Rebellion, Lonni does whatever he can, with hope that he will eventually be able to properly raise his daughter away from the war.
He is portrayed by Robert Emms.
Personality[]
Lonni is shown to be a very intelligent person, after the Empire discovers a dead rebel pilot working for Separatist resistance leader Anto Kreegyr, he quickly points out that investigating the ship draws away suspicion, as if the ISB were to leave the ship untouched, Kreegyr would know it's a trap.
He is also shown to be a kindhearted man, as he meets with Luthen, he informs him of the Empire's knowledge of Kreegyr's planned raid on the Spellhaus power station and tries to get Luthen to inform Kreegyr, hoping to save their lives. Jung would then find out Rael intends for Kreegyr to continue with his mission, as he believed that Lonni's position in the ISB was more important than 50 men. Disturbed by this, Lonnie stated that he wished to resign from his position as spy, as he had just become a father. Lonni would go on to ask whether or not his sacrifice meant anything for Luthen, and if Luthen ever had to do the same. After hearing Luthen's explanation, Jung leaves, being told that he is the hero that the Rebellion needs.
