Lopmon is a Rookie-level Digimon who is a friend of the Chosen Ones. In his previous life he was Cherubimon, one of the seven leaders of the Army of Light.
He is voiced by Chinami Nishimura in the Japanese version.
History[]
During the ancient war between the Army of Light and the Army of Darkness, Lopmon was Cherubimon, his Mega form and one of the seven leaders of the Army of Light. During the war, Omnimon arose to destroy ZeedMillenniummon and save the Digital World, but Cherubimon perished along with the members of both armies aside from a heavily injured Seraphimon.
Cherubimon is later reborn and he eventually digivolves into Lopmon, but like all of the Digimon who are reborn, he loses all memory of his previous life which is then locked away deep in Lopmon's soul. Lopmon is raised by the Woodmon alongside the Budmon before a new darkness arises to threaten the Digital World. During this time, he meets Tai, Sora and their partners who protect Lopmon and his friends from evil Digimon. After witnessing Agumon digivolve into WarGreymon, Lopmon regains his memories of his previous life as Cherubimon and fills Tai and Sora in on the details of the ancient war. As WarGreymon and Garudamon protect him, Lopmon manages to awaken the Komondomon in order to help them escape. He then sends most of the Komondomon off to find and help Digimon who seek peace such as the Woodmon while sending their leader to help the Chosen Ones. Lopmon then departs with the Woodmon and Budmon on another Komondomon, unwilling to leave the friends who had taken care of him.
Shortly thereafter, Lopmon telepathically contacts an exhausted and injured Patamon. Reviewing his old friend's memories, Lopmon recognizes that the trauma that Patamon has gone through as well as his own rebirth has caused Patamon to lose most of his powers as well as his memories. Lopmon encourages Patamon to become the light of hope that they need, briefly appearing as Cherubimon amongst an image of the seven leaders of the Army of Light. Patamon later recalls Lopmon's words before digivolving into Pegasusmon instead of Angemon.
Lopmon eventually links up with Leomon and his forces. During the final battle with a resurrected ZeedMillenniummon, Lopmon recognizes the power of hope that is rising from the Digimon and the Digital World itself and he urges everyone to send it to the Chosen Ones. With a Terra Force empowered by the power from Lopmon and all of the other Digimon that they have met over their adventures, WarGreymon is finally able to destroy ZeedMillenniummon for good.
After ZeedMillenniummon's destruction, Lopmon works with Leomon to find a new home for the Digimon whose homes were destroyed by ZeedMillenniummon. He later witnesses Ghoulmon and the Soundbirdmon darkening the skies and makes contact with the Chosen Ones, expressing confidence that they will be able to pull off an even bigger miracle than the destruction of Millenniummon. Alongside Leomon and a Komondomon, Lopmon watches the final battle between the Chosen Ones and Abbadomon.
Following the final battle, Lopmon, standing on a Cherrymon, tells a crowd of Digimon about the human world.

Trivia[]
- Much like Patamon from Digimon Frontier, Lopmon appears to have retained some of his powers as a Holy Digimon even after being reborn. After regaining his memories, Lopmon has shown the ability to levitate, cause a number of trees to move out of his way, awaken a bunch of Komondomon from their slumber and to communicate telepathically. Whenever he uses these powers, Lopmon is surrounded by a golden glow.
- Lopmon’s voice is dubbed English by Veronica Taylor who originally voiced Ash Ketchum & his mother Delia in the first few seasons of the Pokémon series when it was being dubbed by 4Kids. Including Max Taylor & his Mother in Dinosaur King also for 4Kids. Especially April O’Neil & some other various characters from the 2003-2009 series TMNT “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles”.
