“ | You're looking for the wooden statue that Ilia had, aren't you, dear? Think it's a coincidence that I happen to know it got stolen from the doctor's place? No... Yes, I admit it...I took it. But then I was attacked by some sort of skeletal dog beasts who took it from me. I don't know why these beasts were after her statue... I thought it likely that she was in a dangerous spot, though. Those fiends lurk just outside the southern gate... Unfortunately, they only come out at night. | „ |
~ Louise |
Louise is a character from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. She is Persian cat owned by Telma, the leader of the Resistance. While in wolf form, Link is able to speak to Louise. Although not formally introduced in their first encounter, Louise remembers Link in his wolf form, though she doesn't know exactly how Link changed into a wolf, she subsequently assists him by revealing an alternate route into Hyrule Castle Town's sewers after she notices that Midna is gravely injured by Zant, and Midna requests Princess Zelda's help.
Later, when Link is on a mission to help his amnesic childhood friend, Ilia recall her memory, Louise is found in front of Telma's bar, where she admits to stealing Ilia's Wooden Statue from Dr. Borville, which was the key to improving Ilia's condition, but she loses it when she is ambushed by Stalhounds south of Castle Town and forced to flee the scene and charges Link to find the statue and bring it straight to Ilia.
Trivia[]
- Louise was originally intended to play more of a role in The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. Concept art in the Hyrule Historia reveals Louise had some connection with Darbus as she can be seen riding on his shoulder.
