History[]
During the film,Dr. Peter Shirtcliff arrives at the park rangers headquarters, he tries to warn LuAnn Potts about the terror awaiting the campers and staff at Good Friends Church Camp. She does not believe him as the story sounds too ridiculous to be true especially when Shirtcliff says it relates to the award winning Instant pancakes from Jeppson. As Shirtcliff leaves to warn the campers and staff, LuAnn looks through some old newspaper articles and police reports begins to believe there is something going on in the woods. As she tries to make a call, she is attacked by the Lumberjack Man who nearly kills her by throwing an axe to her back, but retreats when she throws a cup of syrup at him her deputy was using earlier. She successfully find Shirtcliff and tells him that maple syrup is the only thing that can kill the monster. In the end of the film, after defeating the Lumberjack Man, an injured LuAnn, Shirtcliff, Faith and Reggie hitch a ride to town leaving the camp and the Lumberjack Man’s memory behind for good. Although LuAnn apologizes to Shirtcliff for not believeing him.
