Lubba is the tritagonist of Super Mario Galaxy 2. He is a captain Luma ruling his own ship, that he will then give in to Mario. Lubba has tendency to make wisecracks towards guests on his ship.
Upon his first encounter with Mario, he explained what happened to the starship, because of Bowser after kidnapping Peach. With the help of his fellow Lumas and Baby Luma they restored the ship into a form of Mario's head. And with that, they started their journey to rescue Peach across the universe.
