Lucas Tazmilly is the true protagonist of Mother 3, and one of seven playable characters. He is the younger twin brother of Claus, son of Flint and Hinawa, the "Positive" one of the twins, and is right-handed. He is timid and shy, and can even be described as a crybaby at the beginning of the game, but as the game goes on he starts becoming braver, and stronger.
Biography
Lucas is the son of Flint and Hinawa, and younger twin to Claus. He lives in Tazmily Village, and even has a dog named Boney. Lucas has blonde hair and teal eyes. He is normally seen wearing shorts, and a yellow/red striped shirt. Although… the Pigmasks sometimes confuse him with the Masked Man, who happens to look like Lucas…
On his adventures, Ionia (a magypsy) gives Lucas the power of PSI; his abilities range from flyrokinsesis (psychic shields), psychic healing, and psychic 'Love'; to that of his Smash Bros. counterpart that has cyrokiniesis (PK Freeze), pyrokinesis (PK Fire), electrokinesis (PK Thunder) and the telepathic ability to pull meteorites down from space (PK Starstorm).
Trivia
- Lucas and Claus are anagrams of each other.
- Lucas was originally going to replace Ness in SSBM but since EarthBound 64 was canceled, the plan for Lucas to replace Ness was canceled as well. Later, they both were present in SSBB.
- Unlike Ness of EarthBound or Ninten of EarthBound Zero, Lucas uses sticks.
