Lucinia Porter is the overarching protagonist of the Glitch Productions science-fiction webseries Meta Runner. She also appears as the deuteragonist in the prequel comic book series Meta Runner: SOURCE.
She was a part of TAS Corp's Meta Runners in the past with her girlfriend, Belle Fontiere. She was also an assistant of Dr. Sheridan who assisted to develop Project Blue before the accidental lab explosion happened. She is also known to be the older sister of Sofia Porter.
She is voiced by Amber Lee Connors.
Personality[]
Lucinia is shown to be insecure, shy, kind, and unassuming. She always encouraged and advised Belle Fontiere to do her best when she had game competitions she had to compete to win. When she became an A.I. fragment of Tari, her personality still remained the same.
Even as a memory fragment, she seems to retain her personality. However, it appears that part of her personality was fused with Tari, allowing Tari to behave humanly.
As for her real body, she is almost with only a fraction of her mind in her head completely void of emotions and retains no memories of her old friends as seen in Skybreakers. However, parts of her former self seem to slowly reappear from time to time.
Lucinia has shown that she will not tolerate disrespect towards her friends when she is quick to confront and berate Evelyn for her torment and chides her for being a brat.
Appearance[]
Lucinia has fair skin, with fuchsia-purple hair, light pink-purple eyebrows, and orchid-purple eyes. She wears a black tank-top, dark blue shorts with a navy black jacket tied around her waist, black tube-socks, and black leather boots.
Her Meta Runner arm is on her left arm.
Biography[]
Backstory[]
Around an unknown time, Lucinia became one of TAS Corp.'s notable Meta Runners, becoming acquainted with the latters. She became close friends with Belle Fontiere and the two eventually fell in love. She also appeared in one of TAS Corp's commercials. She also taught Belle speed-running tricks while being there for her when Belle was in stress. Additionally, she was Sofia's older sister and that she raised Sofia alone, with Sofia inheriting her sister's penchant for humorous melodrama. One year later, she started to lack attention when she hadn't been getting any press conferences to go when Lucks didn't need her. It has also affected her skills while Belle and Masa became more relevant throughout time. Despite this, Masa reassured her that she was one of the best runners he knew and that she belonged on the team regardless of what other people thought of her.
In any case, Lucinia started exploring the TASCorp science labs in the hopes of discovering something to sharpen her skills, which eventually led her to discover James Sheridan's research project, which was in dire need of a test subject. Lucinia approached Sheridan and offered to be the host for his experimental A out of desperation to get Lucks' attention. I. program, delighting the frantic scientist. She encountered Sheridan's sentient A.I. program called The Turbo Assisted Rapid Intelligence, or simply T,A.R.I., who was uploaded into Lucinia's Meta Runner arm and allowed her to control Lucinia's movements throughout a variety of games, leading to a sharp increase in her skills. Sheridan uploaded a more advanced version of T.A.R.I., because he thought it was time to advance the experiment. Tari was able to communicate with Lucinia's brain directly thanks to the implant she had made into the latter. When Sheridan accidentally pushed the neural uplink too hard, causing the server to collapse despite their immediate chemistry. As a result, Lucinia would either pass away or, at the very least, sustain permanent brain damage. Before putting Lucinia into the TASCorp server, where her mind would be safe, Tari was able to save her, but she later admitted that her hard drive would be destroyed and her memory data would be erased, leaving her with nothing. When Lucinia realized this, she took off her digital arm, which stood in for a portion of her consciousness, and gave it to Tari so the two would stay connected and eventually cross paths again. Lucinia was left behind with burn scars and her consciousness was shattered, leaving her in the ruins of the lab while Sheridan was physically scarred as he fled the scene of the explosion.
As a result, Masa eventually came to the conclusion that Lucinia had passed away and became even more convinced that Lucks was to blame for what had happened to her. Although he knew what Lucks would do to him if he caught him again, outraged by her "death," Masa decided to take on his former boss by exposing TASCorp. He also decided to enlist Sofia Porter, who missed her sister and also desired justice, as well as Lamar Williams, who later turned into a Meta Runner after joining the two of them to form MD-5. In order to avenge Lucinia's "death," MD-5 would repeatedly attempt to bring down TASCorp over the course of the following year, but each time it would fall victim to Lucks' advanced cybersecurity and significant influence in Silica City.

While Lucks is exposed around the public, Tari reveals that the lab explosion put Lucinia in a comatose state creating Tari inside of Dr. Sheridan's A.I. program with parts of her consciousness being inside of Tari and the server having her consciousness as well, making Tari believe that there could be a possible way to revive Lucinia Porter.
Season 3[]
While attempting to warp into Turbo Crash 9, Tari was captured by Evelyn. She was taken to Dr. Sheridan's private server and chained up while Sheridan explained that she had achieved her goal of eliminating Lucks and no longer required the "extra" brain functions. Just before drilling into Tari to take Lucinia's consciousness, he said that Lucinia was also present in the private server. Theo, who warped in after Tari and attacked Evelyn and the machine while doing so, halted the process and eventually freed Tari. The transference is left unfinished, with Lucinia only regaining a portion of her consciousness and the remaining portion remaining inside Tari while Evelyn is tasked with locating additional data fragments.
Masa later found out that the player was Lucinia, and Belle and Masa were forced to play Battle Blaze against her. They pressed Sheridan for an explanation, but he electrocuted Belle first and then took them back to his personal server. When Sheridan decides he has wasted enough of their time, he sends them back into Battle Blaze, but this time they are compelled to warp in and engage Lucinia head-on.
In the safe area, Tari and her friends are located by Evelyn and Lucinia. Evelyn gives Lucinia the go-ahead to attack Tari and recover her lost fragments after killing Theo and Lamar in-game. Tari is able to defend herself by attacking Lucinia with the knife, which causes some of the fragments to return to her and partially restores her meta runner vision, so she can fight back. However, Sofia sees Lucinia through Tari's perspective and calls out to her, briefly awakening Lucinia as she says her sister's name and drops the knife. Lucinia attempted to attack Marco by firing at him with her guns when the crew sought safety on a new ship after Evelyn's bot-boy captain blew the first one up. In one of Masa's visions, Lucinia is seen crying on the ground, but she quickly turns around and humiliates and attacks him. She is also depicted attacking players and warping them into Sheridan's virtual world in Skybreakers alongside Evelyn. When Lamar attempts to use an ability to harm Lucinia, she shoots and detonates the targets instead. Lucinia and Evelyn hold Lamar down when he obstructs the ship's navigation, and Evelyn then forcibly warps him into the virtual universe.

Lucinia, along with Belle and Masa, are visible on Evelyn's ship when she attacks MD-5's ship before they enter the backdoor. Tari is shot in the leg by Lucinia as Evelyn starts to speak. A projectile is fired at their ship just before Evelyn and her crew attack, and everyone is struck to the ground. MD-5 and SHERCorp. Get ready to fight one another.

Evelyn aims her gun at Masa when he regains control and forces her into the ship, but he defends himself and pushes them both away. As they hurt each other, Belle regains control when her control bug shorts out. She then throws her sword at Lucinia to prevent her from obtaining the knife. Tari gains her power back after Tari's remaining data fragments return to them after Lucinia pulls the knife out of her stomach. As Sofia encourages Tari and her to use his virtual lab to restore them both after Evelyn is defeated, Lucinia takes Evelyn's impaled sword away. Tari then threatens to take down Sheridan's server and she follows Tari out the back door.
