Lucy Diamond is the deuteragonist of the fantasy adventure light novel, manga, and anime series From Old Country Bumpkin to Master Swordsman. She is the magic teacher of Picell, who is a disciple of Beryl Gardnant. She is also the head of the magician academy.

She is voiced by Chiwa Saito in Japanese.

Appearance

Lucy is a beautiful small young girl with long blonde hair. She typically wears a purple outfit.

Personality

Despite her petite look, she is powerful and courageous. She is willing to take risks to test and understand others she respects, such as Beryl. She gives up her villa to help Beryl and Mui, showing generosity and a protective side. Her actions show she cares for her students and allies, even if she’s blunt or forceful. Though her methods to test others are aggresive, such as attacking Beryl, she stem from a desire to recognize strength and push them to their potential. She believes those with great power should embrace it openly, likely because she values responsibility and leadership.
