Lucy Tucci is the overarching protagonist of DreamWorks' Home franchise.
She is Tip's long-lost mother who got captured by the extraterrestrial Boov race as part of their plan to have planet Earth as their new home planet. It's now up to her daughter to find her and reunite with her again, only with the help of a Boov named Oh.
In the film, she is voiced by the actress-singer, Jennifer Lopez, who also voiced Azteca in Antz and later Shira in the Ice Age franchise. In the TV series, she was voiced by Ana Ortiz. In the Japanese dub from the movie, she was voiced by Urara Takano.
History[]
Home (2015)[]
Lucy is a woman who has a cat called Pig and a daughter called Tip Tucci, but they were separated when the Boov arrived to find a home on earth and transported the humans to Australia believing them to be stupid, except for Tip who succeeded to save themselves together with Pig. Throughout the film Tip tries to mother her with Oh always mistakenly calling her “My-Mom”. She is seen briefly on a screen when they find her.
Towards the end of the film, Lucy is finally reunited with Tip who she tearfully hugs. After seeing Oh, She initially wants to kick him still thinking he is a threat, but she is calmed down by her Tip of her explaining everything about herself, so that she then thanks him wholeheartedly.
When The Gorg then arrives to destroy the Earth, still looking for the egg stolen from them by the Boov, Oh, who has understood why he is so angry, explains that he has a plan to prevent the impact with Tip, Pig and Lucy who they follow in the car, but to be locked inside in safety by Oh. The two witness the scene where The Gorg is about to begin and Oh runs towards him to give him back the egg, but she doesn't hear him and so Tip with the mirror that she gives to her mother attracts the Gorg's attention so that he understands what they want to do. Then, Lucy helps Tip get off the flying machine and, they run towards Oh trying to save him, but he is apparently crushed before throwing the stone/egg at Tip, who hugs her mother over Oh's apparent death. When Oh turns out to be alive and reconciles with the two humans and the cat, they return the stone to the Gorg who thanks them with honor and Lucy looks happily at Oh and Tip. Two weeks later she is seen at the party with Oh, Tip and everyone else dancing and then she takes a photo of the two.

Lucy is a tanned young woman with brown eyes and straight brown hair, with a white plaid blouse under her as well as blue shoes and jeans.

Lucy is a very friendly and kind woman, who cares a lot about her loved ones, compassionately and protective of her daughter.

- Lucy is the second DreamWorks role of Jennifer Lopez, after Azteca in Antz.
