Biography[]
Prison Sentence[]
Luis was arrested for stealing two Smoothie machines, and was sentenced to San Quentin State Prison, and later befriended his fellow cellmate, Scott Lang. Luis was released from prison in 2014, and as a goodbye ritual with Peachy, was the only person to knock him out. By 2015, Luis' girlfriend broke up with him, his mother passed away, and his father was deported.
Ant-Man[]
Luis reunited with Scott and picked him up after his release from San Quentin, and informed him that he got the van despite losing his mother, father and girlfriend. Luis told Scott about a heist he was planning with Dave and Kurt, and learned that there was a large safe in a basement of Hank Pym. Lang was reluctant to join them on the heist, but decided to after learning that it will take forever to reunite with his daughter.
Though the heist was successful, the only thing Scott found in the safe was a suit, which was later revealed to be the Ant-Man suit. Luis, Dave and Kurt were later recruited by Hank to help him break into Cross Technologies and steal the Yellowjacket suit. Luis agreed to help Scott in the heist, and helped him stop Yellowjacket.
Months later, Luis was informed that Falcon was looking for Ant-Man to recruit him during the Avengers' clash. After the events of Civil War, Scott gave Luis the Ant-Man suit before he could be arrested. After being arrested, Lang was placed on house arrest, and co-owned a house with Luis. Luis, Lang, Dave and Kurt decided to start their business called X-Con Security Consultants, and Luis ran the business at home.
Ant-Man and the Wasp[]
While still running X-Con Security Consultants, Luis aided Scott and Hope van Dyne in stopping Sonny Burch and his group. He also helped the two escape from the FBI after they stopped Ghost and Bill Foster, and rescued Janet van Dyne from the quantum realm. After apprehending Burch, X-Con received attention for this, and Luis received a business offer from Mr. Karapetyan.
Infinity War and Endgame[]
It's unknown if Luis was one of the victims of the decimation, which was caused by Thanos to wipe out half of the universe. If so, he was revived by Hulk in 2023 alongside everyone else who was snapped out of existence, and possibly later reunited with Scott.
