Luke Siss is a character in the manga and anime, Attack on Titan. He was an soldier in the Survey Corps who was a part of Team Dita. He participated in the Survey Corps’ 57th expedition, where he would lose his life while trying to fight the Female Titan.
Appearance[]
Luke Siss was a younger man of average height. He had brown hair that he kept in a ponytail. while his hair was longer and fell down on the sides. He had a slightly long face and slanted brown eyes.
Luke wore the standard Survey Corpse uniform and green cloak during the expeditions, with a grey shirt underneath.
Personality[]
Luke Siss was a courageous and responsible soldier, who worked well with his superior Dita Ness, making sure to assist him during the expedition with taking out any Titan if necessary, showing Luke’s loyalty and bravery.

Past[]
Luke Siss was born on September 26th in an unknown year, somewhere within Wall Rose. At some point in his youth, Luke joined the military and would after graduating, join the Survey Corps. Luke would be placed under the wing of Dita Ness and participate in various expeditions in the Titan infested Wall Maria.
Eve of the Counterattack arc[]
When the new Survey Corps recruits arrive at the headquarters. Luke can be seen giving the recruits their new uniforms together with Dita.
Female Titan arc[]
Luke departs with all the other Survey Corps soldiers for the 57th expedition. Luke would be placed in the right flank relay squad, together with his team leader Dita and the new recruit Armin Arlert. Luke and his comrades kept moving forward, not seeing any red flares for a peculiar long amount of time. Suddenly, they notice a black flare in the distance. An Abnormal Titan appears and is trying to head for the center of the formation. Luke is ordered by Dita to go for the neck while he will make it stop moving, with Luke agreeing with his order. Dita slices open the Titan’s Achilles tendon, causing it to fall to the ground. Dita orders Luke to take it down, Luke jumps of his horse and slices the Titan’s nape while still on the ground. Having successfully killed it, Luke and his Team briefly continue with the expedition, until they suddenly notice yet another Titan coming towards them for the distance. Dita is annoyed by the right flank scouts lack of attentiveness, but Luke believes that the Titan ignored them, making Luke believe that it’s just another Abnormal. Dita tells Luke to use same strategy as before, which Luke agrees on, but they are quickly cut off guard as the Titan’s fast speed made it so it already caught up to them. Luke and Dita are nearly crushed as the Titan runs past the soldiers, Dita orders Luke to launch the attack. They both go after the Titan’s nape simultaneously, but Luke is suddenly caught and immediately crushed in the Titan’s hand, with Dita following shortly after.
