Lumière's first appearance.

Lumière and Cogsworth watching a man named Maurice arrive at the Beast's castle, seeking shelter.

Lumière burning Cogsworth's hand when he covers his mouth.

"Of course Monsieur, you're welcome here!"

"Hello."-Lumière revealing his presence to Maurice.

Lumière hitting the ground after Maurice drops him in shock.

Lumière being scolded by Cogsworth for revealing himself to Maurice.

Lumière snickering as he watches Maurice fiddle with Cogsworth.

"Oh, you are soaked to the bone, monsieur. Come, warm yourself by the fire."

Lumière allowing Maurice to sit in the Beast's chair so he can warm himself by the fireplace.

A frightened Lumière seeing the Beast arrive in the castle's den.

Lumière tries to reason with the Beast about Maurice...

…only to be roared at by the latter.

After Maurice is imprisoned by the Beast, Lumiere argues with Cogsworth.

"Did you see that?"

Lumière and Cogsworth see a girl wandering in the castle.

Lumière excited to see a human girl in the castle.

"Don't you see? She is the one! The girl we've been waiting for! She's come to break the spell!"

Lumière watching the girl, Belle arrive at the top of a tower, searching for her father.

Lumière astounded to discover that the imprisoned Maurice is Belle's father when she finds his location.

Lumière catching his master's attention after Belle exchanged her freedom for her father's.

"Since the girl is going to be with us for quite some time, I was thinking maybe you might wanna offer her a more comfortable room."

Lumière being snarled at by Beast.

"Then again maybe not."

"Say something to her."

Lumière advising Beast to invite Belle to dinner, only to make it sound like more of a demand than an invitation.

Lumière with Mrs. Potts and Beast in the dining room.

"Master, have you thought that maybe this girl be the one to break the spell?"

"Good!"

"So, you fall in love with her, she falls in love with you and...Poof!"

"The spell is broken! We'll be human again by midnight!"

Lumière telling Mrs. Potts hears from him that the Enchanted Rose has already started wilting.

"Ah, yes, and when she comes in, give her a dashing, debonair smile. Come, come, show me the smile."

"Impress her with your rapier wit."

Both: "You must control your temper!"

Lumière, Mrs. Potts, and Cogsworth looking down as Beast angrily confronts Belle for refusing to have dinner with him.

"Master, I could be wrong, but that might not *be* the best way to win the girl's affections."

Lumière, Mrs. Potts, and Cogsworth watching Beast's attempts to be cordial turn into an argument with Belle.

Lumière, Cogsworth, and Mrs. Potts after Beast storms off in a rage.

Lumière ordered to stand watch by Belle's bedroom door and see if she exits out of her room.

"You can count me!"

Lumière telling Cogsworth that Belle is their guest, not their prisoner.

"Ma chère Mademoiselle, it is with deepest pride and greatest pleasure that we welcome you tonight."

"And now, we invite you to relax, let us pull up a chair as the dining room proudly presents - your dinner!"

"Be... our... guest!"

"Try the gray stuff it's delicious!"

"Don't believe me? Ask the dishes!"

"And the dinner here is never second best!"

"Oui, our guest! Be our guest!"

"We tell jokes, I do tricks! With my fellow candlesticks!"

"Life is so unnerving, for a servant who's not serving. He's not whole without a soul to wait upon."

"Ten years we've been rusting, needing so much more than dusting. Needing exercise, a chance to use our skills!"

"Most days we just lay around the castle, flabby, fat and lazy, you walked in, and oops-a-daisy!"

Lumière and Cogsworth fighting as they accuse one another of revealing to Belle the castle's enchanted.

Lumière and Cogsworth surprised when Belle reveals she figured out the castle's enchantment herself.

Lumière being told by Cogsworth it might be a bad idea to give Belle a tour of the castle until she changes his mind.

Lumière and Cogsworth stopping Belle from going up the staircase that leads to the West Wing.

"Nice going."

Lumière and Cogsworth trying to prevent Belle from entering the West Wing by suggesting other places to see within the castle.

Lumière and Cogsworth heading to the castle library, unaware that Belle isn't following them.

Sometime later, Lumière and Cogsworth see Belle running in such a hurry.

Lumière and Cogsworth seeing Belle leave the castle due having been frightened by Beast.

Later, Lumière and his friends get scared when Beast growls viciously as Belle tries to heal his wounds he sustained when protecting Belle from a pack of wolves.

Lumière and his friends surprised when Belle puts her foot down with Beast's temper.

Lumière and his friends seeing that Belle managed to conquer Beast's temper as she heals his wounds.

Lumière thinking before he comes up with the idea of Beast showing Belle the castle library.

"I knew it would work!"

Lumière and his friends leaving to give Belle and Beast some privacy.

Later, Lumière, Mrs. Potts, and Cogsworth are impressed to see how much Belle and Beast's relationship has improved.

Lumière and the other servants touched by the romance forming between Belle and Beast.

Lumière satisfied that Belle and Beast are falling in love on their own terms.

Later, Lumière and his friends meet with Cogsworth who reminds them how much time is left to break the spell.

Lumière cringing when Cogsworth nearly destroys the Enchanted Rose.

"Hoho, lighten up Cogsworth and let nature take its course."

"Aaah...human again..."

"Yes, think what that means..."

"I'll be courting, chic, and sporting again!"

Lumière and Fifi smiling flirtishly at each other.

Lumière about to laugh at Mrs. Potts's playful comment.

Lumière dancing with Mrs. Potts.

"Really? That'd be strange!"

Lumière hearing Cogsworth wants to retire when he's a human being again.

Lumière turning on the castle fountains.

"You must be bold. Daring."

"There will be music, romantic candlelight, provided by myself."

"You care for the girl, don't you?"

"Voila! Oh, you look so...so..."

(Beast: "Stupid.") "Not quite the word I was looking for, but perhaps, a little more off the top."

Lumière hiding behind a curtain as Beast, wearing a nice suit, goes to meet with Belle.

Lumière pleased that the evening is going smoothly between Beast and Belle.

Lumière and Cogsworth in the ballroom as Belle and Beast go to share a waltz.

Lumière and Cogsworth satisfied to see Belle and Beast's feelings for each other grow stronger.

Lumière dimming the candle lights, changing the mood surrounding the ballroom so Belle and Beast can cement their feelings for each other.

Later, Lumière is shocked to hear from Cogsworth that Beast has allowed Belle to leave the castle.

Upon hearing that Beast has fallen in love with Belle, Lumière gets excited, believing its enough to break the spell, only to be reminded that Belle has to love Beast in return.

Lumière, Cogsworth, and Mrs. Potts sad over Belle's departure.

"Maybe it would have been better if she'd never come at all!"

When Sultan suddenly barks out the window, Lumière and Cogsworth think Belle has returned.

Lumière, Cogsworth, Sultan, and Mrs. Potts shocked to see an angry mob storming up towards the castle.

Lumière ordered by Cogsworth to warn Beast and get ready to defend the castle.

When the staff aren't able to barricade the castle doors, Lumière suddenly gets an idea.

Lumière being grabbed by Gaston's sidekick, LeFou.

"NOW!"-Lumière signaling the servants to attack the rioters.

During the battle, Lumière gets cornered by LeFou who is wielding a torch.

Lumière about to be melted before he is saved by Cogsworth.

Lumière burning a rioter when he plucks Fifi's feathers.

Lumiere rescues Fifi.

Lumière and Cogsworth after they, along with the other servants, drive the rioters away.

Lumière having kissed Cogsworth, much to the latter's disgust.

Lumière, Mrs. Potts, and Cogsworth having arrived at the West Wing, witnessing Belle tend to an injured Beast after his fight with Gaston.

After the rose's last petal falls and the Beast dies from his injuries, Lumière, Mrs. Potts, and Cogsworth mourn for their master, while believing they'll be objects forever.
