Lux Bonteri is a major character in the 2008-2020 animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars, as well as the novel Battlefront II: Inferno Squad. was a freedom fighter who fought to end the Separatist occupation of his planet Onderon. He was the son of the late senator Mina Bonteri.
He was voiced by Jason Spisak who also is the voice of Kid Flash from Young Justice and Razer from Green Lantern: The Animated Series.
Biography[]
Lux Bonteri's family sided with the Separatists when Onderon seceded at the beginning of the Clone Wars. Count Dooku ordered the death of his mother, Mina Bonteri, to stop a peaceful proposal that she had introduced. Seeking justice after her assassination, Lux allied with the Death Watch. His friend Ahsoka Tano helped him recognize the Death Watch's dishonorable goals.
Returning to Onderon, he joined the rebel movement along with Steela Gerrera and Saw Gerrera and had help from the Jedi. After winning the planet's freedom, Lux was appointed as the Onderon rebels' representative in the Galactic Senate, joining the planet with the Republic once again.
Lux would later go on to become "The Mentor" in the Dreamers, a sect of Saw Gerrera's partisans. His group was infiltrated by Iden Versio's Inferno Squadron and slaughtered, with Bonteri as the only survivor.
