M’yrnn J’onnz is a minor character in in CW's 2015 series Supergirl, a show that is part of the CW's Arrowverse, serving as a supporting character in Season 3 and a posthumous character for the rest of the series. He was the father of J’onn J’onzz revealed to have survived the Green Martian genocide and comes to Earth with J’onn after being rescued by the White Martians.
Personality[]
M’yrnn was a devout pacifist, devoted to the teachings of the Martian religion and god H’ronmeer. He sought peace before violence and was a good father to his children. His greatest failure was his son Malefic who turned against him and the Green Martians out of resentment towards being isolated even though M’yrnn only did so out of good intent to protect others from Malefic’s destructive power and never abandoned love for Malefic, blaming himself for what had transpired and feeling immense remorse.
After being rescued and reunited with his son on Earth, M’yrnn would ingratiate himself with J’onn’s friends and Earth culture, developing a taste for coffee and singing at the karaoke bar with Team Supergirl.
